Welcome to the Saugatuck
Fireworks Fund!
The Fireworks committee is putting on three awesome fireworks
shows on the 4th of July, Venetian
night (July 26) and New Years Eve at midnight
over Lake Kalamazoo. Coghlin Park and Cooks Park in downtown Saugatuck
will be a good place to view these shows. These annual events are funded
solely by area contributions. See the sidebars about how to contribute.

4th of July Fireworks
Fireworks will light up the sky on Friday, July 4th for
our annual Independence Day fireworks, a celebration and salute to our
great nation. Once again picnics, parades, and fireworks (always on the
4th) will be a part of our community and country. Fireworks will begin
around 10pm (dusk), Monday over Lake Kalamazoo. Bring your chairs and
blankets to relax to the sights and booms of the show extraordinaire.
New Years Eve Fireworks
Help light up the sky over Kalamazoo Lake at midnight.
The annual "bring in the New Year's Fireworks show" will begin
at 12:02 a.m., giving everyone some time to toast in 2009.
Venetian Night Fireworks (July 26)
Fireworks extraordinaire sponsored by Saugatuck, LLC ,
Aubrey and Katie McClendon and Stephen and Susan Neumer preceded by the
lighted boat parade. A weekend of activities begins with Friday night's
fundraiser under the big top with beer, wine, food, fun, and music by
"The Shirey Brothers." Other activities include a Saturday art fair, chicken
barbecue, Kids Fun Area, and The Dinghy Poker Run. See saugatuckvenetianfestival.org
for more info.
