The Fireworks Fund works year round on the 4th of July, Venetian Night, and New Years Eve shows.

The annual budget for these 3 shows is over $25,000. Any size donation is appreciated and your money will make a difference. Donor jars are located in the Saugatuck and Douglas post offices, Demond's Super Valu and The Butler Restaurant.

Checks can be made out and sent to Fireworks Fund Committee, Box 333, Saugatuck, MI 49453 or contact Rob Joon, Lighthouse Realty, at 616 836-2816 to become a sponsor. We are organized as a non-profit exempt organization (501C4). All donations are welcome and may be tax deductible.

Welcome to the Saugatuck
Fireworks Fund!

The Fireworks committee is putting on three awesome fireworks shows on the 4th of July, Venetian night (July 25) and New Years Eve at midnight over Lake Kalamazoo. Coghlin Park and Cooks Park in downtown Saugatuck will be a good place to view these shows. These annual events are funded solely by area contributions. See the sidebars about how to contribute. 4th of July Fireworks

Fireworks will light up the sky on Friday, July 4th for our annual Independence Day fireworks, a celebration and salute to our great nation. Once again picnics, parades, and fireworks (always on the 4th) will be a part of our community and country. Fireworks will begin around 10pm (dusk), Monday over Lake Kalamazoo. Bring your chairs and blankets to relax to the sights and booms of the show extraordinaire.

New Years Eve Fireworks

Help light up the sky over Kalamazoo Lake at midnight. The annual "bring in the New Year's Fireworks show" will begin at 12:02 a.m., giving everyone some time to toast in 2009.

Venetian Night Fireworks (July 25)

Fireworks extraordinaire preceded by "the 80's" themed lighted boat parade at 9:15pm. A weekend of activities begins with Friday night's kickoff celebration under the big top with spirits, wine, food, fun, and music by "Square Pegz." Other activities include a Saturday art fair, chicken barbecue, Kids Fun Area, and The Dinghy Poker Run. On Sunday, stop by the Festival Brunch at 10:30am and the Classic Old Boat Show from 10-3. See saugatuckvenetianfestival.org for more info.
